As a Florida drug and alcohol rehab center, Safe Haven Recovery is located in the sunny city of Miami. We are fully licensed by the state of Florida and accredited by the Joint Commission. At the same time, our therapists are certified and licensed in their various mental health / addiction fields. We utilize Evidence-Based Treatment (EBT). This includes medication assisted treatment in tandem with behavioral therapies. In this way, clients have the best chance to get clean. Subsequently, they stay in treatment longer and can look forward to long-term sobriety.
Our treatment center specializes in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Suboxone. MAT clients are seen daily by our medical staff consisting of nurses, nurse practitioners and a medical doctor. First, they will perform a full assessment and determine a treatment plan. Depending on addiction history and symptoms, medication assisted treatment may be appropriate. For example, medications may include antidepressants, anxiety categories or anti-craving / withdrawal medication (ie: Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol, Naltrexone).
Safe Haven Recovery promises a supportive drug rehab environment for adult men and women (and couples). In other words, Safe haven is a nurturing addiction treatment center where clients are provided with actionable tools to succeed. Above all, we help clients realize a life without drugs or alcohol.

With the use of Buprenorphine and Naltrexone (suboxone) products, we can effectively address chronic relapse and other issues that obstruct the recovery process. In addition, our MAT program is carefully integrated with behavioral therapies, which have shown to produce superior results against abstinence-only care.
